CLINT HENDERSON: Good news it’s not too late to book a summer vacation. In fact, I’m seeing some of the most extraordinary deals I’ve seen in five years right now. Round trip under $500 fares on the major airlines, not just discounters. Under $500 from the United States to Europe in the height of summer. We have not seen deals like this in a long time. They’re still out there. There’s also a ton of points and miles deals. So using Alaska Airlines miles to fly American Airlines and business class for 55,000 miles. We’re seeing deals like that regularly right now. So it’s not too late to book a great summer travel trip.
And I think it’s going to be the summer of savings. And so what are your best tips for getting those savings on that summer vacation. So I would say my top tips for finding savings for summer trips is Google Flights and Google Flights. Explore two of my favorite tools that I tell people about all the time. People ask me if I get paid by Google, but I don’t. It’s just such a great tool. So don’t sleep on Google Flights. I love vacation packages, so airline will bundle hotels and flights and you’ll save up to 40% Sometimes they also offer bonus miles or discounts on top of that, so don’t sleep on that. Sign up for deal alerts from websites like the Points Guy, going thrifty traveler. There’s a lot of deal sites out there, but there’s also a lot of new Instagram accounts that are sending out information on deals. So do your research on that front too, because sometimes you’ll find a deal on Instagram, for example.
