The Microsoft CEO has an issue with DOGE and the dismantling of USAID.

One of the world’s richest people is going after one of his ultra-wealthy counterparts. Bill Gates has called out Elon Musk over his handling of DOGE, and says Musk’s dismantling of the US Agency for International Development could lead to millions of deaths around the globe.
Musk had previously called USAID workers “radical lunatics” and “anti-American.”
However Gates says they’re heroes — telling CNN, “Other than the military, these are about as honorable and, you know, they’re the face of America to people who we want to be alive with us, and we want their health systems to be tracking potential pandemics. Demonizing them is deeply unfair.”
Gates, meanwhile, recently said that he’ll be giving away his entire $200 billion fortune through his foundation over the next 20 years. The decision, he said, was due in part to collapsing global healthcare.
Gates and Musk have feuded before. In 2022, the pair met to discuss how the Tesla CEO could be more philanthropic, but the meeting ended poorly. Musk then went on to call the Microsoft CEO an expletive.
