Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil confirmed the FSU shooting suspect is 20-year-old Phoenix Ikner , the son of a longtime sheriff’s deputy. Ikner allegedly used one of his mother’s service weapons in the attack. He had been active in the department’s youth programs.
