President Trump announced a 90-day pause or reduction in tariffs on imports from more than 75 countries, excluding China. Instead, tariffs on Chinese goods will rise to 125%. The move comes just hours after broad new tariffs took effect. According to the White House, the decision is intended to boost negotiations and respond to a wave of requests from U.S. trading partners.
