The Dow Jones Industrial Average was able to come up off of its session lows, but the index still fell 459 points, or 1.91% to 23,644 on the day.
The Nasdaq was the day’s biggest loser, falling 2.74% while the S&P 500 dropped 2.23%. Facebook Inc. tumbled 2.75%, Apple Inc. was down 0.66%, Netflix Inc. declined 5.1% and Alphabet Inc. was off 2.36%.
