Based on a recent UBS recent Investor Watch survey, business optimism is up.
And for the most part, businesses are supportive of the policies coming out of the Trump administrative, including the president’s efforts with China, says Alli McCartney, managing director at UBS, with 1.5 billion in assets under management.
McCartney gave us the firm’s insight on the markets, possible investing opportunities overseas.
And while we still very well could be in the last year of this bull market, many people don’t realize that the market still usually goes up. So while the inclination is often to pull money out as the end draws near, McCartney suggested some ways to take advantage and still keep your money safe.
We also talked about why more women are choosing entrepreneurship but are still looking for a “safe space” in the financial services industry.
McCartney has a passion for supporting women in finance and she “Women Helping Women,” a transparent and results oriented networking platform for entre- and intra-preneurial women.
In addition, she is the first and only financial advisor to facilitate classes for the UBS/Rent The Runway Project Entrepreneur accelerator program, which is the firm’s flagship philanthropic entrepreneurship initiative to help spur economic growth.
