The battle is on in the organic grocery department.
Amazon AMZN has moved quickly to offer discounts and Prime benefits into Whole Foods stores. Walmart WMT and Target TGT are all in on offering cheap organics. Despite the competitive threats, 300 store plus organic grocer Sprouts Farmers Market is well down the road of having a solid year of sales and profit growth.
The company’s CEO Amin Maredia tells TheStreet Sprouts is moving aggressively to expand its private label products and offer more online.
