Noah Bush, an 8-year-old Black boy, was killed when an 11-year-old confessed to pushing him into a flooded pit and holding his head underwater. The killer was convicted, while another 10-year-old was found guilty on lesser charges. The tragedy has reopened wounds from Georgia’s dark history and sparked a difficult question: what does justice look like when kids kill?
