President-elect Donald Trump chose Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as health and human services secretary. The former Democratic and independent presidential candidate has faced criticism over his history of vaccine skepticism, but said earlier this month that “I’m not going to take away anybody’s vaccines. I’ve never been anti-vaccine.” NBC News’ Vaughn Hillyard reports.
There was more reaction by Democrats and Republicans to President-elect Trump’s choice of former Rep. Matt Gaetz to be attorney general. While the Gaetz choice was defended by some Republicans, others said Gaetz was the wrong person for the job. One Republican saying there was already enough opposition to sink Gaetz’s chances.
