Former President Donald Trump campaigned in battleground Georgia, one day after controversial comments about Puerto Rico by a comedian who spoke at a Madison Square Garden campaign event. NBC News’ Garrett Haake reports.
Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned in Michigan, focusing on the economy, with many voters saying they think they’ll do better economically under a second Trump presidency. Harris will deliver her closing argument tomorrow at the Ellipse in Washington. NBC News’ Kelly O’Donnell reports.
The FBI said it is investigating early morning fires at ballot drop boxes in Portland, Ore., and Vancouver, Wash. Officials said only a few ballots were damaged in the Portland fire, but hundreds might have been damaged in the Vancouver fire. NBC’s Laura Jarrett reports.
