Three years ago, longtime stage actor Aaron Lazar was diagnosed with ALS, a degenerative disease that affects nerve cells needed for activities like walking, speaking and eating. As part of the series “Flipping The Script,” NBC News’ Joe Fryer sat down with Lazar to share why he is opening up about his diagnosis now and speaks about his career on Broadway.
