Imagine you’re on a sports team at school and your teammates all decide not to play until everyone gets a turn. You can compare that to a strike, which is what some port workers are doing right now. We’ll explain why strikes happen and why it’s important. Then, we honor former President Jimmy Carter who served as the United States 39th president. As we wish him happy birthday 100th birthday, we take a look at all of his accomplishments and positive impacts he made to society. Also, we’re celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month to appreciate the different cultures and achievements of Hispanic and Latino people. Learn why National Hispanic Heritage Month starts on Sept. 15th every year. Plus, Jewish families around the world will be celebrating Rosh Hashanah this week, which marks the start of the Jewish New Year. This holiday is filled with many traditions and celebrations and a time to enjoy some sweet twisted bread called Babka.
