One police officer was shot dead and two others were injured in southern Dallas late Thursday, the Dallas Police Department said. An unnamed suspect fled from the scene, but was pursued and later shot by officers, police said in a statement early Friday. Now there are concerns that the officer who was killed may have been the target of a deadly ambush. NBC News’ Morgan Chesky has the latest.
