The Trump campaign was on defense for a second day after former President Donald Trump questioned the racial identity of Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris said the American people deserve better, and one prominent Republican called Trump’s comments “unacceptable and abhorrent.” Trump’s running mate JD Vance defended the former president and called Harris “a chameleon.” NBC News’ Garrett Haake reports.
