Super League CEO Ann Hand sat down with TheStreet to debunk some of the myths about who plays these games and where the eSports and community gaming industry is headed.
“I mean one of the things that I gave a lot of time and thought to before I jumped into Super League was a lot of those types of questions. Who is a Gamer today? Can I represent a Gamer,” Hand said. :And what I saw as we were running different types of family friends, test events was I saw a lot of young girls and young adult females in the audience. I saw fathers playing with sons together. So I saw multigenerational gaming. Um, and it really, I had to go through my own process to debug who a Gamer is.”
