Gloria Vanderbilt has passed away at the age of 95.
Vanderbilt, a member of New York’s Vanderbilt family, was born February 20, 1924.
She has had a long, rich retail history that included clothing, jewelry, shoes, home and paper goods and furnishings. You might recall her famous trademark on those Vanderbilt jeans you wore was a swan. That logo became a company trademark from her first professional play, “The Swan”.
Vanderbilt is the great-great-granddaughter of the 19th century railroad magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt.
