Women in Games Italia announced this week that it’s holding its inaugural Women Create Games Forum in partnership with Event Horizon School. The event takes place on September 13 at Event Horizon’s Milan campus. The event covers a wide range of topics in game development, from production pipelines to environment artistry to UI/UX design, told from the perspective of women in the industry.
According to Women in Games, the event’s sponsors include Xbox, Predator Gaming (Acer) and Skillsearch, while partners include Swipe Right, Women in Games and Devcom. Micaela Romanini, founder of Women in Games Italia, and Fabio Cristi, Event Horizon’s project manager, will host the event. Fiona Cherbak, Xbox Game Studio’s lead talent program manager and head of inclusive hiring programs, is the keynote speaker.
The forum’s other speakers include:
