The United States Department of Defense reported four boats with Houthi rebels from Yemen fired on U.S. Navy helicopters in the Red Sea. Officials said the helicopters fired back, sinking three of the boats and killing all crew members on board. NBC News’ Meagan Fitzgerald has the details.
