For Apple, 2024 is all about AI, and the iPhone maker is setting itself apart from rivals’ dependence on generative AI via cloud-based services, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Instead, Apple will use on-device software, processors and other chips in a bet on greater speed and security, Gurman reports.
