Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) told NBC News correspondent Gabe Gutierrez that he is confident he could beat President Joe Biden in a general election, despite falling 9 points in the polls since officially launching his presidential bid. “Biden beat Trump in the swing states and I beat Biden handily in the swing states. That’s ultimately the election right there,” DeSantis said.
