GOING TO BE HAPPENING. YOU KNOW, THEY GOT A LOT OF FROZEN PIZZAS. YEAH, THERE WE GO. BECAUSE I MEAN, IT’S THIS IS GOING TO CONTINUE ON AGAIN, NOT THE SNOW NECESSARY, BUT THE WIND WILL CONTINUE. AND IT’S GOING TO LEAD TO SOME SLICK ROADS. TOMORROW. YOU CAN SEE THE SNOW THAT WE’VE GOT HEAVIEST HAS SHIFTED TO THE EAST. MITCHELLVILLE ALONG I-80. AND WE HEAD TO THE SOUTH AND IT’S ACTUALLY DRYING OUT A LITTLE BIT FOR AREAS LIKE BEDFORD EASTWARD TOWARDS LAMONI AND EVEN OFF TO THE WEST. SO AGAIN, THIS ISN’T SOMETHING THAT’S GOING TO LAST FOREVER, EVEN OFF NEAR OMAHA, JUST SOME LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS THERE. SO WE’VE GOT KIND OF THE END OF THE SYSTEM, WE’LL CALL IT. AND WE SEE THAT WORKING ITS WAY THROUGH CENTRAL IOWA. NOW. BUT THAT’S GOING TO CONTINUE TO THE EAST. IF YOU HAVE PLANS THAT TAKE YOU TO THE EAST. AGAIN, I JUST CAN’T CAN’T STRESS ENOUGH. YOU SHOULDN’T BE OUT ON THE ROADS RIGHT NOW. WE’VE GOT SNOW. BO DOWN. WE’VE GOT SNOW THAT’S STILL FALLING AND WE HAVE GOT WIND GUSTS THAT ARE KICKING THAT SNOW UP AND PUSHING IT AROUND. AND THAT HAS LIMITED VISIBILITIES FOR A LOT OF US. METRO JUST GOT A LITTLE BIT BETTER. WE’RE UP TO A MILE AND A QUARTER HALF MILE FOR AMES IOWA FALLS COMING IN AT A QUARTER OF A MILE. AND SHERIDAN AT A HALF MILE. YOU LOOK A LITTLE BIT FURTHER TO THE EAST, NEWTON AT THREE QUARTERS OF A MILE, AS WELL AS MARSHALLTOWN. SO AS WE LOOK OUTSIDE, YOU CAN SEE WEST DES MOINES DOESN’T LOOK LIKE VISIBILITY. IS THAT GREAT. THERE, AS THEY’VE HAD A LITTLE BIT OF A BURST OF SNOW WORK ITS WAY ON IN CRESTON CONTINUING TO SEE THE SNOW. BUT LOOK AT THE WINDS. THESE ARE SUSTAINED WINDS UP TO 25MPH FOR AMES, 3 IN CARROLL THAT MAKING FOR WIND CHILLS IN THE TEENS TO 20S BELOW. SO THE ARCTIC DIP IS ALREADY HERE, AND IT’S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE OUT THERE. SO WE LOOK INTO THE OVERNIGHT HERE AND YOU CAN SEE THE WINDS STAY UP. THEY WILL BACK DOWN JUST A TOUCH INTO YOUR SATURDAY MORNING. BUT PLAN ON MORE GUSTS POTENTIAL UPWARDS OF 40MPH ON SATURDAY. SO EVEN THOUGH WE’RE NOT SEEING ANY NEW SNOWFALL THAT SNOW IS LIGHT AND DRY ENOUGH. WHERE THAT’S GOING TO BE BLOWING ALL OVER THE PLACE. WINDS DO FINALLY BACK DOWN A BIT MORE SUNDAY MORNING. WE’RE TALKING GUSTS POTENTIAL 20 TO 25, SO THAT BLOWING SNOW POTENTIAL WILL HAVE DROPPED CONSIDERABLY. BUT THEN THE ARCTIC AIR IS GOING TO EVENTUALLY WORK ITS WAY ON IN. SO STILL BLIZZARD WARNING THAT GOES THROUGH 6 P.M. ON SATURDAY. THAT’S NEARLY THE ENTIRE STATE. AND EVEN THE SPOTS THAT AREN’T IN A BLIZZARD. WARNING AGAIN, CONDITIONS AREN’T GOING TO BE THAT GREAT FOR YOU EITHER. TRAVELING PACTS TONIGHT. HORRIBLE TOMORROW MORNING. NOT A WHOLE LOT BETTER AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE DAY ON SATURDAY THOUGH. AGAIN, THOSE WINDS WILL DIE DOWN SOME AND THAT WILL GIVE US A CHANCE TO GET A HANDLE ON THE ROADS AND FINALLY SEE SOME PROGRESS THERE, BUT STILL EXPECTING AT LEAST SOME TRAVEL IMPACTS INTO THE EVENING HOUR. WIND CHILLS THOUGH, ARE GOING TO PLUMMET AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND. I’LL GET TO WHAT THOSE VALUES WILL BE HERE IN A SECOND, BUT YOU LOOK ACROSS THE STATE STILL MORE THAN HALF OF THE STATE IS NOT ADVISED FOR TRAVEL. PLEASE TAKE THAT SERIOUSLY. THE ROADS ARE TREACHEROUS RIGHT NOW. AREAS TO THE NORTH NOT NEARLY AS BAD. YOU’RE LIKELY STILL SEEING THOSE VERY STRONG WINDS THAT ARE PUSHING THAT SNOW AROUND, BUT WE’VE SEEN A LITTLE BIT OF RELAXED CONDITIONS SOUTH OF THE METRO, WHERE ROADS ARE JUST 100% COVERED. BUT STILL NORTHERN HALF OF THE METRO TRAVEL NOT ADVISED. SO TRACKING OUT YOUR FEELS LIKE TEMPERATURES TOMORROW MORNING. HOW ABOUT 20 TO 30 BELOW ON SUNDAY WE GO EVEN FURTHER INTO THAT RABBIT HOLE, UPPER 30S TO MID 40S BELOW AND INTO THE DAY ON SUNDAY. WE’RE STILL TALKING ABOUT THE POTENTIAL FOR 30 TO EVEN 40 BELOW IN SPOTS, AND AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE DAY ON MONDAY, THE WARMEST FEELS-LIKE TEMPERATURE WILL LIKELY EXPERIENCE IS GOING TO BE 22 BELOW. SO IF YOU ARE CAUCUSING ON MONDAY, BUT AREDALE UP, TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY. YOU DON’T WANT TO GET STUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND NOT HAVE THE GEAR IN YOUR CAR THAT YOU NEED TO STAY SAFE. SO WE’VE GOT FOUR WEATHER ALERT DAYS LINED UP IN A ROW. I DON’T THINK I’VE SEEN THAT MANY IN A ROW SINCE I’VE BEEN WORKING HERE. THAT’S BEEN NINE YEARS NOW. WE. HEAD INTO WEDNESDAY AND WE D
