Mobile ALOHA is a humanoid robot that can be remotely operated by a user. It is a low-cost, open-source hardware system for bimanual teleoperation. Mobile ALOHA can perform autonomously by imitation learning. It can be tethered to a human operator by the waist, who drives the robot around the work environment while operating the arms with controllers. This enables the robot control system to simultaneously learn movement and other control commands.
