Democrats celebrate the healthcare, economic, and climate bill passed after an all-night marathon of procedural votes that stretched well into Sunday afternoon. Vice President Kamala Harris broke the tie on the bill. The bill will be the boldest climate package in U.S. history. Republicans, meanwhile, unified in opposition, warning about spending against the current economic backdrop. Now, House Democrats are set to return from their August recess Friday to pass the bill before sending it to President Biden’s desk.
