Former Softbank COO Marcelo Claure is launching his own venture firm, Bicycle Capital, that is targeting $500 million for its inaugural fund after amassing $440 million in commitments so far. Claure and the firm’s managing director Shu Nyatta join Caroline Hyde and Ed Ludlow to discuss the launch, why it is focusing on Latin America, and the need to invest in diverse founders.
