President Joe Biden’s announcement that his administration would pardon federal simple marijuana possession offenses could give Democrats a boost in the midterms, said Atlanta Journal-Constitution Washington Correspondent Tia Mitchell. “It’s going to play very well to Biden’s base and people he doesn’t want to stay home,” Mitchell said.
