Baltimore City State Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced that charges against Adnan Syed in 1999 murder of ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee were dropped. A second round of DNA testing was done on items that had not been examined before. Mosby said Syed’s DNA was not found on evidence. “Adnan Syed is free,” said his attorney Erica Suter.
