Markets edged lower as solid earnings and economic data fueled speculation of a wind-back in central bank bond buying. The Dow and S&P 500 closed down, while the Nasdaq was unchanged. In corporate news, News Corp slipped after the company reported falling revenue, and Hologic dove 12% on weak sales forecast. Dish network gained 5.5% after earnings beat estimates.
