Gwen Ifill was the moderator of “Washington Week” on PBS, making her the first Black woman to host a national public affairs program. She was a recurring panelist on “Meet the Press,” appearing on more than 70 broadcasts. Just eight weeks before she passed away in 2016, she joined the broadcast to reflect on the opening of the National African-American History Museum in Washington.
