To win full control of SiriusXM, Liberty Media may have to raise its bid and unveil a broader plan for for Time Warner Cable, according to Sachin Shah of Albert Fried & Co. Currently, Liberty Media is offering SiriusXM shareholders $3.68 a share in the company’s non-voting stock. The company’s CEO also indicated on a Friday conference call with analysts that a SiriusXM acqusition could be used to support a joint bid with Charter Communications for Time Warner Cable.
