The publishing industry has evolved to the point where even prominent authors need to repeatedly self-promote across multiple formats, says bestselling author Brad Meltzer. While Meltzer is best known for his political thrillers and as the host of History Channel’s Decoded, his latest project is a series of children’s books titled “Ordinary People Change the World” which he wrote to educate his kids and keep them off their iPads. As for the next big disruptor in the industry, Meltzer says it’s self-publishing.
