TheStreet’s Action Alerts PLUS Co-Portfolio Managers Jim Cramer and Stephanie Link are starting to see the retail sector become “overkilled.” Cramer says when investors overly hate a group of stocks, that’s often the place to look for buying opportunities. Cramer likes Starbucks, which has pulled back almost 10 percent, and says if Starbucks reports a weak number and the stock doesn’t go down, it’s “game on” for retailers. Cramer and Link also like Nike, TJX, YUM! Brands and Costco because they are secular growth names. Stephanie Link says this is the time to look at higher-quality names that are getting hit with the rest of the retail group.
