Private equity firm Thomas H. Lee Partners readies Party City for its market debut. Party City planned to go public in April 2012 but Thomas H. Lee Partners picked up a 70% stake in a deal worth $2.7 billion. But with a heavy debt load and helium priced at a premium, what kind of IPO party will it be?
