The retail sector has been destroyed as companies have been plagued by poor sales trends and have blamed the cold weather, but there will be some winners. VF Corp owns The North Face which should help the company buck the trend of weakness as sales for the cold weather brand should benefit from the brutal snowy weather onslaught and join some retail winners like Under Armour and Michael Kors.
