Major US markets closed lower Wednesday, snapping their strongest four-day rally this year. Confidence was earlier fueled by dovish remarks from new Fed Reserve chair Janet Yellen and her upbeat comments on the US economy, though traders noted the “low quality” of the bounce with relatively little small cap participation; an indicator of risk sentiment.
