‘The Wolf of Wall Street,’ one of nine films nominated for Best Picture at the 86th Annual Academy Awards, has been the subject of much controversy over its crude portrayal of Wall Street in the 1980s. TheStreet’s Jim Cramer weighs in on the controversy and reveals his opinion that the film is a stunningly accurate portrayal of the penny stock world and the “underside” of Wall Street. Cramer recalls working at Goldman Sachs at that time and reveals what went down on the “other side of the tracks.”
