TransCanada CEO Russ Girling tells TheStreet’s Joe Deaux in Houston he thinks North American gas exports ‘most definitely’ will accelerate if tensions escalate further in Ukraine. Girling says global demand for gas is growing, especially in Asia, and disruptions like in Russia Ukraine will force suppliers to seek different locations for diversification. Girling says North America will gain more attention, which historically has not been the case.
