PVH, the former Phillips-Van Heusen, has been on an acquisition trail buying up apparel assets and bringing them together under one roof. TheStreet’s Jim Cramer points to PVH’s acquisition of Tommy Hilfiger which he says was a ‘brilliant’ and ‘fantastic’ move by CEO Manny Chirico. Chirico, who also bought some Calvin Klein production rights PVH did not already own, will have more work to do throughout 2014 to integrate all the parts of the brand under one roof, according to Cramer.
