Canadian Minister of Natural Resources Joe Oliver tells TheStreet’s Joe Deaux it will be critical for Canada to diversify its markets for oil and gas. Currently, the United States is Canada’s only customer for gas exports. Oliver says Canada needs to build the infrastructure. Oliver says Mexico took a ‘courageous’ step to open up its oil markets, and says the country will now be one of its main competitors as it looks to expand to whom it exports.
