Ukraine’s Black Sea province, Crimea, holds a referendum Sunday that determines whether the region splits from the country. Abbot Downing CIO Carol Schleif tells TheStreet’s Joe Deaux the broader markets will sell off, U.S. and E.U. sanctions likely won’t hurt investors here. While a Crimea split won’t be good, Schleif says there are opportunities in other markets. Schleif says a pullback in equities and South American emerging markets will provide some buying opportunities.
