With G7 leaders meeting to discuss the Crimean crisis this morning and Russia continuing to pile on the pressure, markets were trading cautiously. Poor Chinese manufacturing confidence figures also hit the mood, although the steady Eurozone outlook did buoy confidence a little. Lufthansa faces a strike of some staff after pay talks failed last week, but a possible privatization of its smaller rival Air Berlin gave Frankfurt’s small caps market a boost.
