U.S. auto sales in March topped forecasts bringing the annual rate to 16.4 million units. Every category, from domestic cars and trucks to imported cars and trucks saw sales gains. March’s sales gains were the highest since November, and auto sales were up 4-percent at General Motors, 3-percent at Ford and 13-percent at Chrysler. One standout was Chrysler’s Jeep which saw its sales surge 47-percent in March. TheStreet’s Ruben Ramirez reports from Wall Street.
