Today, Amazon is set to make a big announcement in New York City after the open–it is expected the company will launch a set-top box, after Jeff Bezos’ company revealed earlier this week it has lined up boldface names to launch new shows for its entertainment vertical. Earnings coming today from Texas Instruments after the bell–and Monsanto, before the open. Plus, Jim Cramer’s buying more shares of a jumbo retailer he says is poised to whip the competition.
