QEP Resources brings some Texas and Oklahoma exploration assets back to the auction market. The oil and gas drilling company had tried once before to sell these assets, but pulled the plug on the auction when the prices talked about proved disappointing. Hedge fund investors continue to pressure the company to increase asset values.
