Amazon’s next move is into consumers’ living rooms with its release of its Fire TV set-top box, a device it says is more powerful and intuitive than its competitors. Fire TV is an all-in-one portal to watch movies, TV, play games and listen to music via a big-screen TV. The release puts Amazon in direct competition with devices already on the market, including Apple TV, Google’s Chromecast and Roku.
