Markets closed mixed after a volatile day of trading – the Dow was lower with the Nasdaq and S&P higher. Results from Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs boosted sentiment while lackluster earnings from Google and IBM a day earlier were a dampener. A peace deal over Ukraine was reached in the afternoon, with all side pledging to refrain from violence. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he hopes not to send troops into Ukraine but did not rule it out. Markets will be closed on Good Friday.
