Ford Motor’s Mark Fields says the automaker’s business is doing “extremely well” in China where sales were up 45% in the first three months of the year. As for Europe, Fields says the automaker is on plan to continue trimming losses in 2014 and says it is seeing strength in Germany where its market share climbed 1% in the first quarter. While Europe is turning around, Fields says South America, especially Brazil, and Russia are two areas where the environment is volatile.
