AT&T reported earnings of $0.71 cents a share on $32.5 billion in revenues after the bell on Wednesday. Analysts were looking for earnings of $0.70 cents a share on $32.44 billion in revenues. The key for AT&T this time around was to not lose its strategic focus and convince shareholders it can keep producing value, while also finding new avenues for growth. AT&T added over 1 million subscribers in the first quarter for a net add of 625,000 postpaid subscribers, the best Q1 net add in five years.
