Microsoft reported earnings of $0.68 cents a share on $20.4 billion in revenues, beating analyst estimates of $0.63 cents a share on $20.39 billion in revenues. The earnings report also came with an outline of the new strategic direction to grow the company out of the PC era, as well as the impact of Nokia and Office 365 on the company’s 2015 guidance. Microsoft is taking its Office software suite mobile, and it will soon be available on Apple’s iOS mobile operating system.
