Pier 1’s fourth quarter results were severely hit by the harsh winter, however the retailer’s stores will benefit this spring from pent-up demand, says Anthony Chukumba, Managing Director at BB&T Capital Markets. Chukumba is also bullish on GameStop, saying it is early in the video game console cycle and a spike in software sales will soon follow. He adds that the company generates strong free cash flow and the dividend is secure. Finally, Chukumba likes Restoration Hardware as it increases its showroom space.
