TheStreet’s Jim Cramer says Apple is buying Beats to be “cool” and to get more of its products into cars beyond Beats’ current deals with Chrysler and Fiat. Apple released its own CarPlay which has not yet taken off. Cramer would buy Harmon because he thinks will go down on the deal. Cramer also warns investors to be cautious of Gap’s good earnings because it was up against easy Easter numbers. Cramer also says Ralph Lauren’s advertising deal to compete with Google won’t work.
